Victor Bumbalo  Author - Playwright - Director - Dharma Teacher

I'm a recipient of an Ingram Merrill Fellowship Award for playwriting and two-time finalist for the Lambda Playwriting Award.

After David Milch saw a reading of my play, What Are Tuesdays Like?, he invited me to write for NYPD Blue, and that began my television writing career.  David also produced my play, Questa, in Los Angeles.

Two Boys, my short film, has been screened at several major film festivals throughout the United States.  It won the Jury Award for Best Drama at the Beverly Hills Shorts Film Festival, and I won best director at the ITN Film Festival.

My latest play, East Utica, spans three wars--World War II, Korea, and Vietnam--and centers on three women who are left at home.

My plays are available at Broadway Play Publishing and Amazon.com.

I've recently completed a novel, but there was kindness.

I taught television writing at the graduate level at Chapman University for six years.

TABLE READ, which creates audio presentations of screenplays, selected my screenplay Questa, which will air shortly.
